Daily Tours, a Costa Rican family-owned SME and travel agency, aims to integrate environmental sustainability into its operations.

Main objectives:

• Reduce environmental impact: Daily Tours seeks to minimise its environmental footprint by preventing, mitigating and adapting to the environmental effects of its business activities. This includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions from energy consumption and fuel use.
• Sustainable consumption and production: The company aims to promote sustainable consumption and production models, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 12 (Responsible consumption and production), SDG 13 (Climate action) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the goals).
• Energy efficiency: Daily Tours plans to improve energy efficiency by encouraging energy-saving measures among its employees, implementing energy-efficient technologies and promoting the rational use of water resources.
• Waste reduction and recycling: The company will implement processes for the recovery and recycling of solid waste (paper, ink cartridges, etc.).
• Sustainable procurement: Daily Tours is committed to sourcing goods and services from suppliers with sustainable practices.
• Implementation and measurement: The environmental policy will be integrated into Daily Tours’ daily operations and reviewed annually. Corrective actions will be implemented as necessary. All employees will receive a copy of the policy. The company’s progress will be measured against the aforementioned SDGs. Specific goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.
